It includes a mention to CCRM and how they encourage just one embryo transferred--not subscribing to the "two for the price of one" philosophy, even though DH said that very thing right as our doc was doing the transfer. Dork. ;)

- My husband and I are trying for our first baby. Since we started, it's felt like one blow after another. Our love has grown deeper and I feel like we could handle anything. But that's certainly not a challenge! We've learned terms like obstructive azoospermia and diminished ovarian reserve and try hard to not let those terms define us. I feel like we have one more chance at a biological child and then we'll move on to egg donation or childfree. I'm trying to make peace with this whole situation...but it's hard.

Hi.. I know its been ages and I can't believe I've missed out on such a milestone in your journey. I was so happy to see good news when I came here. Congratulations!! And wow twins.. that is exctiting. I'll have to go back and read your old posts and catch up on all the events but just wanted to let you know that I'm so glad to see happy news after all you've been through. Thanks for your continued support.
I liked the article, but it was interesting that I saw another blogger have a really negative take on it too. She made a good point about how IUI and other treatments contribute as much, if not more, to twins and multiples than IVF.
Anyway, you've been tagged for a little meme. Hope it gives you some distraction!
Interesting article. I found the CCRM thing quite interesting considering no one ever encouraged us to transfer just one embryo. We were told one or two, we said we'd like to transfer two. They said okay, and that was the end of the discussion.
Thanks so much for your kind words earlier this week. Knowing there are people out there who understand really does soften the blow just a tiny bit.
